Trophy Room

Ship's Plate from the Righteous Path

A half-meter by 1-meter brass plack embossed with the name and registration of the Imperial Merchant Cruiser 'Righteous Path. As the flagship of a reasonably well known if now extinct Rogue Trader dynasty, it holds special attention to fellow Warrant Holders. Her holds were long ago looted by the Dynasty.

Head of the Emperor

While much of the huge statue of the Emperor on Silence was destroyed after it was animated by the Yo'voth energy construct and attacked the party, the head of the Emperor remained oddly intact save for the blood-like tear stains. It has been moved to the Trophy Room in commemoration of the event and has had quite an effect on the more religiously inclined.

Zaythian Autoloader Model

A miniature system crafted on the Zayth landship Indominable and presented as a mockup of the Macrocannon Loading Mechanism they still had the skill and knowledge to construct and offer in trade. While it was originally used to convince the Navy to purchase such devices for the fleet, it now serves as a keepsake and reminder of the adventure.

Aqua Vite of Vaporius

The psychoactive waters of the Priest-King of Vaporius are stored in a series of hand-made copper urns. While it tastes of cool purity and can wipe all fear and worry from the minds of the imbiber, it takes only a dozen drinks over a week to cause one to become fully enthralled to the Priest-king who summoned it forth. While the majority of these urns were quietly sold off to cold-trade importers at Footfall, the dynasty has held on to a couple of urns themselves, just in case.

Eldar Gemstones

Statue of Isha

Indistinguishable to the necked eye from the fare rarer and more valuable Eldar spirit stones, these inch-long gemstones are still highly prized by ignorant human nobility. Each one still holds a slight psychic resonance from their eons laying on the Dread Pearl amidst its eternal warp storm. During the escape from the Dread Pearl, the Explorers departed with hundreds of these gems and although most were sold off, a few have been retained as assets and souvenirs of the mission.

Statue of Isha

A statue crafted with a skill beyond the capabilities of even the most experienced imperial sculptor it is undeniably beautiful, and just gazing upon it gives a sense of health and calming wellbeing, at least for the moments before it's uncanny and inhuman perfection starts to take hold. To those learned in such lore, it can be identified as a statue of the Aeldari goddess Isha, the healer.

Beowolf Archive

The Beowolf Archive is an ornate and fairly large (2m3) crystalline data system containing innumerable works literature predating the Great Crusade and, on occasion, the unification wars of Terra. The archive can be accessed by an embedded interface and the works themselves reviewed by use of the onboard screen, projected audio recording, or exloded to a unique matched data slate. Shipped from Holy Terra in the opening months of the Angevin Crusade and addressed to Praetor Golgenna Angevin himself, the archive is of little practical value, but immense historical and legendary value.

Karlak Rune Charms

The submerged Necron complex, as well as the surrounding sea and islands, are littered with these small tabs. Each no larger then a calling card, they consist of a single green-hued runic character stamped on a background of black, nearly impervious metal. Fairly common among the cities and costal towns of Karlak, they are viewed as tokens of good fortune, with different runes being associated with different aspects of the God-Emperor. Although most of the charms collected have been sold off, a small stock has been retained.

Dynastic Relics

Harmony Meter

A peculiar device that heretically combines alien and imperial technologies, this ornate, beautiful and simple to use device came from the investigation of the Joyous Choir. Its meter indicates the level of a subject's connection to the warp, and as such indirectly detects the presence and power level of a Psycher. This ‘secret’ one was kept by the explorers and stashed on the Aurea Albion, while the more numerous regular ones, which simply react to a human brain’s alpha and beta waves, are still used by the reformed cult. This device is still stored in a small box in the in Aurea Albion's vault, so as not to draw undo attention.

Core Cogitator

This is the core cogitator from the Gaunt Triumph, a grand cruiser that was lost in the Koronus Expanse. It appears as a large (8m x 3m x 2m) adamantine and crystalline cube with hundreds of connection points across each surface. Who knows what it's experienced and what information is stored within the data stacks embedded within. Taped to it, deep in the Vault of Secrets, was a Note indicating the Faceless Lord’s extreme interest. It currently sits within the deepest vault on the Aurea Albion.

Lecticio Divinitatus

One of the original, and proscribed, writings professing the God-Emperor's divinity. It was written in a time when the Emperor walked among men and was highly suppressed, with possession punishable by death. This book appears complete and printed on a small hand-cranked press. It's contained within a stasis field and its value is incalculable. For its own protection, and the prestige of House Drake, it has been removed from the Aurea Albion and placed safely in his mansion on Scintilla.

Warp Maps

Contained within a warn ivory tube, and drawn upon what appear to be sheets of an unknown form of parchment, these maps show a handful of warp routes throughout both the Koronus Expanse and the Calixis Sector that appear on no other maps known to Mordecai or his family. The only one of these to be tried of yet is the one leading away from Inequity, but that was as stable as indicated. Years later the maps were consulted to discover the location of the hidden luxury world of Grace. These maps currently reside in the Aurea Albion’s navigator’s tower.

Arcanum Chronometer

Arcanum Chronometer.jpeg

Magos Uriel gifted the Drake Dynasty his first attempt to replicate the priceless Arcanum Chronometer they had provided him during their intervention on Tennenburg. Originally designed by a renowned Arch Magos Temporal, at least apocryphal legend, the original Arcanum Chronometer was able to interpret the time dilating effects of the warp to an accuracy of 20 minutes. The Arch Magos, obsessed with perfecting the system, eventually went mad after more than two centuries of work did not live up to his standards. This version, which is bulkier and is only accurate to about an hour every month, still provides very useful information to the Navigator, as well as any voidsman with planet-side obligations. The Arcanum Chronometer is currently installed on the bridge of the Aurea Albion.

The Brass Fool

A personal gift from Lady Kreva of Tannenberg in thanks for the efficacy of the Dynasty's work against her rival house. The Brass Fool is an ornately crafted servitor specifically designed for decorative showmanship and riveting gladiatorial displays. imported through secret channels, nobody is quite sure from whom Lady Kreva obtains them, which has lead to rampant speculation ranging from revered magi of the Adeptus Mechanicus to hereteks integrating alien technology. Whatever the origin, the result is a spectacularly complex, if mostly ornamental, multifunction servitor. The Brass Fool can usually be found in the Senior Officer's hall.

Armor of the Iron Rose

Discovered on the wreckage of the Essence of Effort, which had crashed violently on Karlak filled with Tyranid Bioforms, the Armor of the Iron Rose fell along with its last bearer fighting in defense of the vessel's bridge. This ornate and powerful suit of Sororitas armor is a testament to the skill of both the artificer and artist's craft, being both exceptionally well-wrought and beautifully decorated. Its design and gleam give leave no room for doubt that the wearer is an ordained executor of the divine imperator, and those who witness it will react accordingly.

  • (Armour: Chest 9, Head 9, Arms 8, Legs 8, +10 Strength, +5 Charm, +5 Intimidate, +5 Command, -30 to Disguise, Autosenses, Vox, Sealed)

Bridge Salvation Shields

Discovered in the walls of the greater bridge tower of the Essence of Effort, which had crashed violently on Karlak filled with Tyranid Bioforms, the Bridge Salvation Sheilds consist of an array of conversion field emitters and linked auspices notes of an unknown but exceptionally powerful design, capable of converting even a direct lance strike. Unfotunoutly, these shields will quickly overwhelm the power grid of any imperial voidship, knocking the immediate area into emergency power for hours at a time.

  • The bridge may ignore all critical hits. If this effect is used, the bridge becomes unpowered for 1d5 rounds.

Personal Artifacts

Note: These items are detailed on individual character sheets or universal equipment page.

Void Weave Cloak

Fashioned from the hair of some unknown beast, this unnaturally dark cloak is highly resistant to damage, especially fire. Currently warn and used by Solarus.

Ghost Voice Auspex

Witchblade.png

A sensory device of ancient and wonderous design, the Ghost Voice proves to be vastly superior to a standard imperial mode. Additionally, when linked into a personal vox network, it provides constant updates that can alert the user to danger. Currently used by Brother Winter.

Eldar Witchblade

A large, uncannily beautiful sword of clear Aeldari make. While in the hands of a regular mortal, it is little more fancy power sword. In the hand of a psyker it shows its true power, cutting through the heaviest armor and toughest of enemies, though it carries with it a psychic link to the immortal doom and despair of the fallen. Currently wielded and bonded to Solarus.

Splinter Rifle

The obsidian-like, jet black weapon of the Durkhari, this malicious looking device fires splintered crystals of solidified neurotoxin. In addition to it's terrifying ranged potential, the weapon is also covered in monomolecular blades for close combat work. Currently stored in the Trophy Room.

Wych Knife

An impossibly sharp and perfectly balanced knife, this knife was recovered on Aurum, evidence of the activity of Durkhari in the Periphery. Currently stored in the Trophy Room.

Necron Phase Claw

A gauntlet with extended bladed fingers forming a cruel claw-like device covered in swirling energies and disorienting to look at, as though it is both there and not there at the same time. Currently with Dominica.

Archeotech Stalker Bolter

An ancient and exceedingly well-crafted hunting bolter with several integrated components which would otherwise be rare attachments themselves. Shows an almost inpreceptable amount of damage or wear dispite having been in the gullet of Killian's Bane for a couple hundred years. The bolts are held in a wide, 10 chamber internal magazine. Through a complicated internal selector, the bolter detects all types of ammunition loaded, and can select any of them to be fired.

Returned or Destroyed

Probe Aleph-2.2.1

Probe Aleph-2.2.1 is an ancient Adeptus Mechanicus probe, approximately the size of a large lighter, discovered by the Explorers in the Expanse during their voyage to Quppa-Psi-12. The study of the device revealed that it appears to have been launched by a desperate (and rogue) branch of the Lathe Mechanicum around 900.M39 in an attempt to map a route through what would become the Maw when all other attempts had thus far failed. To this end, the probe is centered around a heretical, hex-warded Silica Animus. The device was recovered, shut down, and eventually exchanged back to the same rogue branch of tech-priests on the Lathes in return implanting the remaining Astartes organs into Winter.

Crusade Logs of the Light of Terra

Located on a score of data slates slotted into a carefully shielded transport crate, the Crusade Logs were the last treasure loaded into the Hidden Hold before it was sealed. As the flagship of it's fleet, the Light of Terra's logs provide a detailed account of the entire Angevian Crusade and are of incalculable historical value to the Imperial Navy as well as serving as a relic of the crusade in their own right. The Logs were brought to the headquarters of Battlefleet Calixis, putting the dynasty in great favor with them.

Tactical Cryopod

A mysterious cryogenics pod designed to fit within a standard drop pod and marked with an Inquisitorial seal. Consideration of the known lore leads to the conclusion that the contents were most likely an Everser Assassin sealed by the great Assassin temples of Terra for use during the Angevain crusade. Deciding this was a bit too dangerous to handle and of limited direct use, the dynasty turned the device over to the Inquisition.

Angevain Baneblade

Among the war material recovered from the Light of Terra was a Bandeblade Regimental Command Tank. Often considered one of the most refined and most generally useful super-heavy battle tanks in the Munitorum armory, this particular example was used by the explorers as a salvation pod when the Light of Terra went to Warp. Upon return to the Calixus Sector, the command tank was turned over to the command column headed to the Periphery War in exchanged for a company of Tempestus Scions.

Liber Daemonicum

The Liber Daemonicum (aka Libra Daemonicus) is a sacred book that contains prayers, battle rituals, litanies, funeral rites, and Chaos lore which the Explorers recovered from the body of Inquisitor Adorjin. Page after page discusses tactics and how to fight the denizens of the Immaterium, as well as listing the True Names of a great many Daemonic entities. The information contained stems from in the Librarium Daemonica, a central repository of dangerous knowledge pieced together by the Ordo Malleus over the millennia. The book was given over to Inquisitor Staven Arcturos along with the Luminous Reproach.

Luminous Reproach

An ancient Colurn blade fabricated in 362.M36 and blessed by Saint-Ecclesiarch Sebastian Thor. Since then it has been in the hands of a string of powerful and well-regarded Inquisitors whose victories would fill libraries. It was last in the hands of Inquisitor Adorjin, who battled demons so frequently that a squad of Grey Knights was permanently assigned to her. She and the sword were lost aboard the Black Ship that formed the heart of the Space Hulk Twilight. The sword was recovered and given to Inquisitor Staven Arcturos along with the Liber Daemonica.

The Hand of Saint Drusus

The Relic of Damaris is a small (30cm x 20cm x 10cm) intricate strong box decorated with innumerable symbols of piety and imperial faith. There is a small line of buttons on the front of the box, the only known code for which causes small shutters around the box’s borders to open slightly, revealing an intense blue-white light. This light is used as the final part of the Ritual of Renewal, where the faithful of Damaris may witness its holy glow.

It was later discovered that the artifact inside the box was not, in fact, a relic, but rather an eldar waystone (soulstone) that had been placed in stasis to silence it. The light witnessed by the faithful was simply the glow from the stasis field generator. The waystone was removed, and replaced with the hand of a recently deceased pious human's hand before the field was reactivated and the box sealed closed again and returned to the Priest.

The relic is currently in the hands of Bishop-Colonel Soren Erasmus of the Damaris Crusaders, deployed to the Periphery.
