The Cantina's new W-11e (or Wally, as he prefers to be called) is a Treadwell-based custodial droid who started his life as custodial droid on board an Flagship Imperial Star Destroyer assigned to a portion of the officer berths. After just short of a decade in that position, he found himself being replaced during a routine retrofit and, given the recent losses to the rebellion, without a lesser cruiser to be reassigned to. Instead, he was shipped off Nar Shadda to fulfill a request made by the Navy Supply depot there. The depot was raided by local rebellion elements after the distruction of the second Death Star, and Wally was captured. Due to his recent position on a vessel of importance, he was interrogated at length by the rebellion agents before being sold off (at exceptional discount) to SAMI.
A decade of low-quality memory wipes, now partly cracked and restored by rebellion slicers, have left the droid more then a big quirky. However, he works hard, cleans well, and unlike Cookie demonstrates some ability to learn new simple tasks or follow a handful of if/then instructions. He also demonstrates an unusual aptitude for spotting dirt and still makes all beds according to Imperial Regulations (regardless of stated preferences).
