Summary of the Story

Scene One : Hanami

In the last days before school starts the Players decide to take young Arata Misuzu out with them on a Hanami at the old Hitotsuna-Nushi Shrine. There they find the largest sakura tree is the only one yet to bloom. Okuni Abe realized that the problem is with Touki the Kodama. Haru so far has stayed in dog form for his master, and in so doing ends up bowling over the sleeping Kinji while playing catch, starting their budding rivalry off, and with a bit of quickness on their feet, both are able to avoid a pelting of sticks from the sour mood of Touki the Kodama. Finally they start the picnic they brought for the Hanami.

Scene Two : Getting Down to Business

After their snack break, the players get to talking more with Touki the Kodama, where he tells them he is waiting for someone who promised to see him before they left. Kinji figures out based on what the kodama described, and the timing that they are looking for a student who graduated, and would pass by the tree on the way to school. Deciding that this is all too much for Arata Misuzu, Haru and Miyako take him back home, and pick up his yearbook for the local school to see if they can put a face to the target.

Scene Three: On The Scent

With the yearbook they get a face from the kodama, and the name Arisa Aikawa from the book, but to make the search even easier, Haru asks for something from Touki the Kodama that he can use to help track the girl by scent. With the help of a old handkerchief, they narrow it down to a neighborhood, and the keen eyes of Miyako spots the right name plate.

Scene Four: Kinji? Kinji!? Kinjiiiii

Finding the house abustle with last minute packing Kinji makes a daring plan to stealth into the house as a Tanuki, to remind Arisa Aikawa with a stick from the tree conspicuously placed in the room. He manages to get it in place, but is spotted in the escape. Haru attacks and eats out of a trash can to give Kinji a distraction, but he is worried the distraction and commotion may make Arisa Aikawa miss the stick so he runs by it to draw her attention to it, and she uses it to kick him out of the house, while the buds on it bloom. Back at the trash can Okuni Abe takes advantage of her miko visage to help convince her parents that Arisa has business at the shrine before she leaves.

Scene Five: in Full Bloom

Arisa Aikawa runs back to the Hitotsuna-Nushi shine to see Touki the Kodama, and he finally burst into bloom, as Airsa says some farewells, and promises to return during summer break. Noticing the peering players, she puts two and two together, and thanks them for helping her keep her promise, and invites them to see her off tomorrow at the station.

Final Scene: Parting Gifts

Haru and Okuni Abe decide to each prepare a parting gift for Arisa Aikawa, with the getting a charm from her shrine and claiming the gift is from the human form Kinji who is too shy to give it to her, and Haru prepares a cutting, with a bit of help from Okuni Abe's Present power to imbue it with the power Haru's It's All Right ability. They all get to say farewell as the credits roll.
