Concept Brief

Kres’enr’ozyly-esehembo is a female Chiss astronavigator and pilot. Within the Chiss Ascendancy, hyperspace travel requires use of the Force. For unknown reasons, Chiss Force users are almost always female and hit peak abilities as adolescents; adults have only a shadow of their former ability. Senroz’s force abilities began to degrade at age fourteen and are now considered functionally nonexistent. At the moment, Senroz is honestly too afraid to try reconnecting with the Force. Now she has ventured out, ostensibly to learn more about how others travel through hyperspace and serve as a sort of cultural ambassador, but also to figure out what she wants to do with herself now that everything that she’s known has ended.

Note from Player: I will take the Force Sensitive/Exile tree to reflect this and allow Senroz to have a Force Rating of 1 and “experiment” with what connection is remaining.

Remarks

Kres’enr’ozyly-esehembo is no longer fit for astronavigational service as demanded by the Aristocras. However, she may still transfer to another department, take military or naval training proper, attend university, or begin a new career afresh. Due to her years of service, all training and reassignment counseling shall be provided with oversight of the Office of Dependent Training.

In debriefing her service, Kres’enr’ozyly-esehembo reflected that she was curious to learn how other peoples of the galaxy use computers and other technologies to astronavigate and possessed a desire to both learn and return with useful intelligence for the Ascendency. With permissions of the Aristocras, Kres’enr’ozyly-esehembo is granted permission to leave the boundaries of the Ascendancy for a period of years on this exploratory and diplomatic mission. (Refer to form 1309-CE-DC-4 and the conditions therein.)

Given this rare opportunity, provisions shall be made for Kres’enr’ozyly-esehembo. First, she is to granted emancipation for dependency on the state and be an acting legal adult. Second, discharge from service shall be reserved, and she shall remain on the rolls of the Chiss Expeditionary Defense Force on special assignment. In addition, her earned honorary grade shall be conferred. The grade, as per Section 5-9 of the Office of Dependent Training Organizing Orders, shall be used for ascribing new rank or grade should Kres’enr’ozyly-esehembo continue service.

The withholding of discharge and honorary rank shall grant her position if needed in unforeseen and dangerous circumstances. While further inquiry into familial and occupational naming is usually done at this time to protect the identities of dependents, it is recommended that this not be completed until Kres’enr’ozyly-esehembo returns to the Ascendancy and/or achieves actual age of majority. Files with name Kres’enr’nuruodo and Kres’enr’ozyly-esehembo shall be linked until further action is required.

The dedication demanded of dependent sky walkers is often seen self-initiated in their secondary careers. We have no doubt that this is true for Kres’enr’ozyly-esehembo. Kres’enr’ozyly-esehembo is to be bestowed with the Hyperspace Medal. (Refer to form OE 12-70 A for commendation nomination and confirmation.)
