Brendon's Flight of Flyboys who Find a Fickle Fate

The Extraction team is supposed to maintain a low profile until the other teams signal for extraction, then bring the ship in for a hot extraction. Landing pad is double booked for the Empire day celebration, so valet services are standing by to store your ship for the duration of the event. Negotiate out of it- extended check

However, there is an explosion, and you turn just in time to see the landing pad collpse, and your ship- the mission extraction ship- tumble off the edge.. as you watch it, you see a heavy cargo skimmer smash into it, and it breaks in two as it tumbles in the abyss.
-Alternative- As the players ship is inspected, a chatty customs agent notices the wookiee's lightsaber and dismisses it as a prop for the Empire Day celebrations. He mentions the Loyalist Association of Saber Rakers, and that they will be participating in the Empire Day march later that day. As the first passangers of the next transport come in (a unit of the Imperial Sub Adult Group, ranging from 10 to 16, forming up on the pad outside), the customs inspector starts to wrap you up, when a large explosion rocks the landing pad offices. BR-1K has a harder check, as the landing bay bucks beneath him, scattering the imperial cub scouts into a panic, and then the bottom drops out of one side of the hoverpad. The Imperial Lambada the ISAGs came in on tumbles over the edge, a few straggler children reach out to grab power lines, fuel lines, anything they can to hold on to, (not handrails, as apparently the Empire, like the Republic doesnt believe in public saftey) as your ship starts to slide across the increasing slope toward them. P1G5 rushes toward the cockpit, but it's unlikely he could get the ship up before it runs over the children... -One action each- As a few of the ISAG scramble for saftey, your ship tumbles over the edge. You can see P1G5 in the cockpit trying to start the engine, and there is a whine of powering repulsors as it starts to tumble toward the abyss... followed by a loud honking noise, as a food shipment lorry slams into your craft breaking it's spine as both halves tumble into the corusanti underworld. That was supposed to be everyones ride off this planet.

How can we complete our mission
- In the mission planning, there was the contingency that if the operation was blown by the imperials, shuttle up to the heavy bulk freighter "Da'Nor", or send the AstroData to "Da'Nor" and go to ground. You've got about 24 hours- can you improve on this?
- Valet ship parking for the event is secure, but penetratable- the main issue is lift capacity, as it mostly consists of light transports and personal craft. Two or three should cover everyone. Who can pilot?
- Imperial craft are rare and well protected, and any theft will generate a lot of attention, but they have plenty of lift capacty and the rebelion will appreciate the contribution. Who can fight?
- Buying/Chartering a ship on short notice, especially one with the life support you need will cost pretty much all the operation's reserve cash and that's if you can talk it down. Who can... wait, is that ship what you think it is?
- One of the "sold" ship listings is familiar, the ship that you as younglings used to escape the temple and fly to Nar Shada, that was captured by the hutts.
- Sold, but not yet delivered- if you hustle, you might be able to get there before it flies off to who knows where.
What is happening at the mission sites?
- News feed of the Empire Day celebrations gives imperial propoganda, but goes live to any dramatic event unfolding.
- The LASR rep and the ISAG troop leader might be able to give more accurate information, but they have to be at the parade at certian times.
- Long range encripted comms bring imperial attention
End of part 1: The Temple Teams have sent a signal- it's time to get them out of there.
