Conclusion

Our Light Side heros will find the Jedi, and she will insinuate that she is carrying something of extreme importance that is of a greater value than even her own existence. PCs must try to escape with her to get this object, whatever it is, off of the Smuggler's Moon and to safety (the Jedi will name some hole she knows is safe to hide in. You know, like Tatooine.) But Vader's been keeping an eye out for them. There's an ambush waiting in the docking bay. The Jedi, fearing what may happen (and feeling the impending danger for her counterpart) hands off a small object - her own copy of the holocron - to the PCs as she turns to face down Vader. Half of the group will need to help her keep Vader and the 501st at bay while the others prep a gettaway ship. When they have the ship ready, things should play out like in A New Hope when our heros are leaving the Death Star on the Millennium Falcon and see Darth Vader cut down Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Players split again into a group to keep Stormtroopers at bay and a group to prepare the ship.

Something is keeping the ship from leaving (tractor beams or docking bay doors).

Combat group will open the doors or disable the tractor beam projectors.

Prep group will get the ship ready (what decided to nest in the cockpit?!). Could also raise shields to make it difficult for Stormtroopers to hit the Combat group (adding two black dice to all ranged combat checks). Could also use shipboard guns to level the playing field (Booster Terrik anyone?). Would involve a Difficult (three dice, additional black dice depending on how fast they want to get it done) Mechanics check to get the shields and guns working. Imperial TIE fighters/bombers attempt to strafe the ship to prevent takeoff.
