Falcon Stats Notes
- Even though small planes are noted as being SIL-2, I'm assuming that's referring to Cessnas and the like. This seems big enough (starfighter sized) to be SIL 3.
- So, it's pretty clear from the three sample vehicles that there is no universal speed gauge - So assuming that by "Superiority Fighter" for modern they mean an F16 (which seems reasonable from the rest of the stats), then our speed should be lower, as our top speed is a bit over half. So speed 4. (note that's still 9 times faster than a car's speed 4.)
- Apparently the Falcon 10A flys like a dream, has a weight limit you couldn't reach unless your staking in gold bars, and comes with all the fancy gear. So that's the idea of the Handling +2 and Fighter-equivalent SS of 10. However, it's not a military craft, so no armor and a couple less HT (though it does have redundant systems, no not abysmal HT)
- Accounting for the diminishing returns of larger silhouette craft, and assuming the 8 passengers aren't counted against it, the res, ulting encumbrance didn't seem like it should be notably better than a SUVs. It could probably be doubled by taking out the 4 removable seats if that ever became important.
- Btw, for accounting purposes, the cost to operate a Falcon 10A is approximately 900,000 a year. It is the "Classic Ferrari" of the private aviation world. Jen can defray some of that cost by providing private charter service during downtime, but we'll still have to account for it.
