The hunters realize they need someone who can manipulate time to get them in touch with an undamaged relic. Quick research into the subject narrows the list down to gods, angels, and demons... or cambions... half breeds of the like, said to be able to manipulate time or time travel as well as perform other magic. With knowledge from his contacts in England, Airy has the scheme to go to Glastonbury Tor, the theoretical site for Avalon, to hunt down Merlin a well-known supposed cambion, who according to lore was imprisoned by the Lady of the Lake. It's gotta be worth a shot, right?
