I would just like to state, for the record, that I fucking hate demons, ESPECIALLY when they pose as native spirits. Fuck them to all hell.

Now that I’m a little calmer...

This spirit out in the woods that’s making people sick ain’t a ghost. I tried repelling it the way Linda told me about - how you push hit down into the ground from where it rises by grabbing it’s neck. It makes you vomit up ectoplasm for a day but it works if you run out of salt or iron. Thank you, Linda, for showing me ways of the Dena’ina while you were still with me.

Still...

THANK GOD I didn’t get that far. I saw it’s eyes flash black. Demon pits of blackness. Really eerie when its like a little girl. But it wasn’t possessing a child. It manifested as a child. Really weird, really creepy. Also everything it touched seemed to suddenly grow sick.

I watched a pine tree die in front of my eyes.

Did I say before I’m glad I didn’t touch it?

Maybe that’s why some of the kids have been getting sick out here. You don’t catch the bubonic plague from nothing these days. Fucking demons.
