Return to Houses of Hermes
This is how mages from each of the other Houses of the Order see House Guernicus. It represents what any apprentice learning basic Order of Hermes Lore in Stonehenge, Rhine and Normandy tribunals would pick up and therefore is therefore sketchy, if the house is concentrated in far away tribunals.

Although named after its founder, this house is often referred to as House Quaesitoris. Members of this house are the investigating judges of the Order, investigating wrongdoing and passing sentence on those who transgress the Code of Hermes and the Peripheral Code. They believe the Order will collapse through internal conflict without their fierce stewardship.
Although House Guernicus trains and inducts its own apprentices and permits none to join otherwise, other magi can also join the ranks of Quaesitors. One of the highest honours in the Order is to be invited by the elders of House Guernicus to become a Quaesitor. Such magi retain membership in their original house.
Quaesitors, not just those from House Guernicus, have an important role in Tribunal meetings.
