Talk:AC Security
Initial & July 2016 Update
So, like R2, AC's initial build is a bit low for a standard droid, having spent only ~95 initial experience. The question then is do we jump him up to our 'NPC' experience, or do we give him a pro-rated value for "joining the party" later in the story. We've had him from July of last year, so that would give him 35 xp, + ~25 instead of 155. This set up makes sense to me, as unless we go out of our way to find 'developed' droids, there's no reason they would have gain xp until they meet us. Of course, that also means developing quirks – which we might not want the combat droid doing…
Anyway, here's my proposal for 55xp:
Enforcer (Hired Gun) Specialization (30xp) - (Class skills: Brawl, Coercion, Knowledge (Underworld), Streetwise)
Fearsome (5)
Intimidating (5)
Melee +1 (15)

This makes sense for AC and I'll be assuming he'll be advancing at the same 1/4 rate as the other NPCs. If we base him at 55 XP to the PC's current 620 XP, this formula should cover his future XP:
XPAC = ¼(XPPC - 400)

One thing I noticed is that you purchased the Enforcer specialization, except I think that's AC's first career -- it should be free, shouldn't it? Wouldn't that mean he has 30 more xp to spend?
