Braeden Abrahams
Braeden is a young and energetic boy who gladly runs towards mystery and danger instead of away from it. Considered a wild child by his parents (and most of the village) He is minimally attentive to his Hebrew lessons, never picked up any of his letters, and generally seemed uninterested in village or academic life. He has always felt more at home in the country or, if he can, in the wilderness of the forest itself. He swore in his tales that he could hear the whispers of the forest. He said the trees, stones, and even animals would speak with him. In any other village, he would be ignored, but among Melverly his gifts are given a little more credence.
His first adventure was in 1227, where he followed along with the hunting/investigation party that discovered a village struck by evil spirits. Shortly after, he was apprenticed (to his mother's exasperation) to William's head ranger and began to work in Haimwood in a more official capacity. During his explorations, he discovered what appeared to be an outside laboratory and, after significant digging, a chest that was brought before the Magi. He is now officially the apprentice gameskeeper for Haimwood Forest.
