Officially designated as the Drake Expeditionary Overwatch Fireteam, this group consists of a team of three Svard 1st Expeditionary Regiment hardened veterans who have been hand-selected for being both the best shots and most resistant minds out of the entire group. Colloquially known as the "Triplex" in reference to both their weapon and the general inability to tell the three apart, these soldiers have taken part in innumerable expeditions alongside the explorers. Brave and alert, but also infinitely aware of their own mortality and vulnerability compared to their charges, the Triplex tend to hang back and keep an eye on things rather than stand as close bodyguard.
